We operate from Unit E6/E7 West Point, Middlemore Lane West, Aldridge, Walsall, WS9 8BG. Unless you are working on site in another part of the country, you’ll be required in the office at the start and end of each day.

Welder / Fabricator

The Position

We’re looking for a confident and multi-skilled welder/fabricator. You’ll work from CAD and Smart Builder drawings to manufacture and construct our bespoke balustrade systems. You’ll also need to be comfortable operating machinery, as well as aligning, cutting, welding, measuring and laying out parts. You may also be asked to install balcony and balustrade systems on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in Mig and Tig welding
  • Experience of manual handling of hand tools, air driven tools, chop saw, pillar drills and pneumatic machines
  • Study and interpret assembly drawings
  • Fabricate and assemble structural metal products
  • Ensure working environment is clean and safe
  • Operate fabricating machines such as rolls, shears and flame cutters
  • Ensure machines are maintained and lubricated when necessary and cleaned down daily

Skills

You will need to be:

  • A Strong problem solver and a desire to come up with practical solutions
  • Accurate and have an exceptional attention to detail
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge or Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Hours
Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm.

Sales Advisors – Full & Part Time

Are you looking for flexible working hours, or returning to work?

The Position

You’ll be responsible for answering and responding to telephone and email enquiries, handling transactions, and converting enquiries into sales. You must be well organised, with good telephone manner, and able to work individually and as part of a team. You’ll also need to be PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deal with enquiries and sell company products from leads generated and close the sale
  • Reviewing your own sales performance work to individual targets to ensure meet or exceed
  • Generate own leads
  • Diarise follow ups to call potential clients in line with company processes
  • Ensure that Blue Logic / Sales system is up to date and used effectively
  • Maintain customer records
  • Provide excellent customer service to all existing clients and potential clients
  • Be a team player with a good can-do attitude
  • General day to day administrative duties
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
  • Calling to follow up online quotes from customers to prospect for new business
  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential customers
  • Challenging and handling any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
  • Liaising with departments to check the progress of existing orders
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
  • Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
  • Provide ongoing Technical sales support to all staff and customers

Glass Laminator

Skills

You will need to:

  • have experience of glass cleaning, assembly and laminating
  • be able to clean and remove excess material after the oven process
  • be able to communicate at various levels and complete process paperwork
  • have an eye for detail and be able to work against daily output targets

Hours
You must be prepared to work alternate shifts “mornings and afternoons” in the future, starting on the current pattern of days.
Product and process training will be provided.
Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm.

Glass Technician

The Position

Reporting to the Operations Manager, You will be responsible for processing customers’ orders accurately and in a timely manor by measuring, cutting, forming, CNC grinding, polishing, drilling and washing glass orders. You will load and off load all glass materials using the appropriate equipment and maximise the full potential of the raw glass material by optimisation, detect and rectify defects using best practice.

Skills

You will need to:

  • be health & safety focused
  • pay close attention to detail for production and quality
  • have past experience of measuring materials and cutting accurately
  • hold a fork lift & counter balance license
  • hold a full driving license
  • work as part of a team

Hours
Product and process training will be provided.
Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm.

CAD Draughts Person

Are you looking for flexible working hours, or returning to work?

The Position

As part of the CAD team you will team work under supervision of the Contracts Manager. You’ll be working at a day-to-day level of individual projects following your Managers instructions for developing drawings in 2D & 3D, working from a computer model of the item or changing detailed diagrams so they can be more easily followed.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Handle Complex assignments under minimal supervision
  • Create drawings and models from written and verbal specification obtained from the customer
  • Understand and interpret clients’ drawings (for example, duct work/services layouts, architectural and structural details and plant/equipment information etc)
  • Review drawings for completeness and accuracy
  • Work with the customer to draw standard drawings & documentation, sign off ready for fabrication
  • Maintain all revision drawings
  • Maintain communication with the customer
  • Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products
  • Prepare multiple versions of drawings  for review by engineers and architects
  • Draw plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software
  • Produce draft drawings and diagrams according to the given specifications
  • Calculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precision
  • Compile data and specifications sheets
  • Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements
  • Be able to use computer drafting systems employed by the company and show willingness to learn new systems as necessary
  • Have a basic understanding of computer drafting systems employed by the company to enable non-standard component drawings to be produced
  • Be aware of and work in line with all current company standard procedures
  • To support the development of drafting and drawing standards to ensure continuous improvement

Hours
Our business hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm & Friday 9am to 5pm.
